THE PROCESS

WORKSHOP

To start this project we sat down and looked at what the Slay Beauty Bar website must have, should have and could have. Following this we started exploring current challenges, How Might We statements, ideas from customers and the likely constraints of the website.

COMPETITOR ANALYSIS

Our research included doing competitor analysis. The focus on this was to see what services similar businesses offered, how their website was structured and what worked well and not so well. This helped us understand what types of pages may be useful for customers and also identified things that we wanted to avoid in our design.

SITE MAP

Starting with the home page, we started exploring the types of pages that may be available and how the information architecture would look. This helped plan what pages we could start exploring with wireframes.

WIREFRAMES

We decided to design for mobile first as we know many customers would be using their mobile device to view and use the website. We created wireframes of some key screens to explore how the screens may look and feel. These were linked as clickable prototypes to get a feel for the interactions.
